Who's In Your Life?

We live in a world today where electronics have taken control of our daily lives.  We go about life wanting the most updated, or most expensive thing that's out there in order to feel like we belong.  Some people would say we "need" these types of things, but really they are just "wants."  Have you ever stopped to think that those things shouldn't be the most important to you?  For example, Black Friday sales have traditionally began at midnight the day after Thanksgiving.  Recently, I have noticed that some stores have started these sales earlier on Thanksgiving evening.  This would mean that people would have to leave their family and loved ones in order to be able to get the newest things out there.  To me, Thanksgiving is about spending quality time with the people who care and giving thanks to all I'm blessed to have in my life.  Family and friends will always be there for you rather than the iPhone 6 you just got for Christmas. I hope you can take the time to think about this quote and thank those people in your life that really count and have been there for you through thick and thin.
